Q. Is it safe for beginners to learn?
A. Yes, training is completely safe. You'll learn how to execute fast full power techniques in total safety on kick bags.
Q. I'm an adult and completely unfit. Can I learn Taekwondo?
A. Yes you can. Beginners get special attention right from their first lesson, so you'll know exactly what to do and your fitness, flexibility and stamina will begin to improve quickly.
Q. Do you have to want to be a Black Belt to learn Taekwondo?
A. No, there are many grade levels between beginner and Black Belt and many things to learn and enjoy at each level.
Q. Will learning Taekwondo encourage my children to fight?
A. Definitely not! Training develops self control and self discipline so members learn to avoid aggressive situations and to use the Art only for self defence.
Q. How much training should I do?
A. We advise members to attend a minimum two classes each week.
Q. If I can't get to my regular branch for any reason, can I attend training at a different branch?
A. Yes, you are welcome to attend classes in any branch – in Australia or in New Zealand – at anytime.
Q. I am a shift worker so sometimes I can't train for two weeks. Will this hold me back?
A. No, tell your instructor when you know you are going to be away. He will advise you of what to practice until you return to classes.
Q. If I know I can't get to training for any reason should I let anyone know?
A. Yes, please. Either tell your instructor or ring the office.
